‘My Prolapse & Me’ BBC iPlayer
10 Jan 2024 available for 11 months
Pelvic organ prolapse is a common health condition but can be seen as taboo: Christine, Natashja, Jo and Sam share their stories of living with prolapse to help lift the stigma around pelvic health
It was a privilege to be part of this amazing documentary that explores what a prolapse is, how prolapse impacts women, what can be done to help prevent prolapse and where to get help. Thank you to all the women who contributed by bravely sharing their experiences, it has had some very positive feedback and I know it will make a big difference by helping others feel like they are not alone.

Thank you very much to Hayley Jarvis Senior Broadcast Journalist at BBC Scotland for inviting me to be part of this amazing experience.
BBC Breakfast - 12th January 2024
Going live on BBC Breakfast was an incredible experience, I was invited alongside Suzanne Vernazza and Christine Sweet to promote the release of the ‘My Prolapse & Me’ BBC iPlayer documentary. Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt were incredibly welcoming and put at us ease. I was also able to promote MASIC during my questions and they had people contacting them after this segment looking for support.
Thank you to everyone at the BBC who looked after me during my visit to Manchester.
